I was reading an article this moring in an old issue of american luthier, the author mentioned shaving the " face braces' after thinking about it , I was not certain which braces he was reffering too, I know on an "x" braced guitar top there are ; finger braces, x-braces , tone bars ,an upper transverse brace, and sound hole braces, I am now assuming ( I know be carefull) the auther was using another term for the tone bars. am I correct in this ? thanks Jody |
