Just curious as to what you guys are using for Maple bridge plates? Quartered, Rift, flat sawn, Hard or soft Maple?

I've used hard maple, rift sawn. Also slant the grain so that the holes don't all end up on a grain line. I also like Honduran Rosewood and Padauk.

I use hard maple on my OM models mostly and rift is the best for avoiding splitting. I like rosewood on my dreads.
