I did my first sunburst this week. Been planning on it all summer since the start of the build and the moment finally arrived. Here is an L-00 and a slope D in Douglas Fir and African Ribon Stripe Mahogany. They are trimmed in maple. Too bad about that dark stripe. I've tried and tried to get rid of it, but the pick guard will just have to cover most of that up. I'll be spraying on the lacquer this week. Thanks for looking Dave

looks good! i like the stripe too. it is wood you know. i also like the smile face in da pic! |

I like them!! Agree with Alan, the stripe adds character. Lovely work. |
