I have to travel to Lancaster for work but should have some time for shopping and such. Are there any luthier or general woodworking stores or shops I should visit? Also any good wood sources there?

Thanks

Yikes, Joe - I used to live near Romney, and I once had a girlfriend in Lancaster (decades apart!) and I wouldn't want to make that drive. I hope you're not going to do that daily.

More woodworking than luthiery. Hearne Hardwoods in Oxford, PA, about 20-30 minutes SE of Lancaster. Groff and Groff in Quarryville, probably 1/3 the distance closer.

I would check out Hearne if you are into resawing. He had some incredible curly koa last year & definitely has stuff that is not listed on the website.
