Hi folks. I sanded this in a corner but couldn't get a distinct smell out of it. Purchased with an old stash of rosewood.. Any opinions appreciated. Thanks, Peter

Looks like Guatemalan (rosewood) to me. Steve

It looks kind of like dalbergia tucarensis (guatemalen rosewood) but that has a sweet smell. Maybe sand a bit more to see if it gives off an odor.
