Does anyone know what the woods are in this beautiful Ukuklele? The ligght Colour top (tonewood) is spruce but I would love to know what the other two are. I think the Rosette is Koa but I have no idea what the pick guard wood is. Thanks |

The pickguards look a lot like flamed Koa to me while the rosette looks more like mahogany. |

I believe that that both pickguards and rosette are koa. The rosette being a red koa which is pretty common, especially from the Big Island of Hawaii. Aloha, Rollo www.koaguitars.com |

The pick guard might also be mango. It is similar in color to that. |
