Any opinions on the Bosch RA1171 Benchtop Router Table? Or is there a better one out there? http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=RA1171 Nick |

There is not much to a router table. The Bosch looks OK, but it is fairly small. I made my own and it is about 40" x 24" which gives lots of surface area and support to work pieces. |

What does that unit cost? Personally I love my Veritas (Lee Valley) router table and would not give it up for anything. |

There's not much to a router table and that one looks just fine. The feather boards on the fence are a really nice feature. |

It usually goes for $199 american, but woodcraft has it for $179, seems like it's better than most commercial benchtop router tables. |

I went with the original Incra JIg http://www.incra.com/product_rtf_originaljig.htm Can't remember how much it cost but it included drilling the plate to fit my router. I remember I chose my router (triton) first and then fitted the table around it. I don't use the router for anything else it is permanently fitted to the table. |
