A friend is interested in having me build a Quatro for him. I can't find much in the way of resources out there. Anybody got any links besides Cumpiano's?

I'm looking for info like typical scale length, domed top or not, radiused fingerboards?? Just trying to check out what's involved in them. The likelihood o this project happening is pretty slim, but I wanted to check around. Seems like a cool project.

Rob,
I had the same request on here a year ago or so. I too would like to build a PR Quatro. I contacted Cumpiano and he sent me a small PDF file of the plans. He say he was in the process of making plans to sell. Since then, I haven't followed up to see how his progress is on that matter. Try emailing him and see whats up if you like.

In the meantime, I'll try to locate the PDF plans and send them to you if that's okeh.

Hutch

There is the PDF plan for the Puerto Rican Cuatro that Cumpiano sent me. It is a small file but you can read the fret scale if you enlarge it.

Hope this helps.

BTW, Rob, I just order the full size plans from here: http://new.cuatro-pr.org/node/44

$25.00 plus 5.00 shipping = $30.00

Check it out if you like.
