I plan to use cypress to make and acustic guitar, D style. I'm wondering if I need to use epoxy for everything or can I use tightbond? |

Why would you need epoxy. Cypress is a wonderful wood, with excellent workability and definitely "glue friendly". |

Hey Richard, I noticed you're in Fl. Are you talking about Spanish Cypress or native Bald Cypress? |

Made one when I worked for McPherson. It was a European top and Cypress back and sides. Both from Rivolta. While I didn't like the guitar very much (that's a general McPherson thing) the wood was very nice. Resonant and light, very pleasing to work with. |
