It breaks my heart to sell this... but when your transmission goes out and you are looking at a few k in car repairs it is time to dig deep into the wood pile. :cry:

This is a super premium set of "The Tree" Honduran Mahogany. (You can read about it here - http://www.guitarbench.com/2009/10/07/t ... e-article/) This is probably the most famous tree in lutherie. These sets are pretty much unobtainable and the only way they every come up for sale is through another maker or their estate. There is a coat of shellac on this set, but it doesn't do the wood justice. When finish is on these they are over the top beautiful. It is easily large enough for a dread. You could probably squeek out a jumbo on it if you wanted to.

Retail value on this set is $1,500, but I will end the auction early with a buy it now price of $1,000 and throw in free domestic shipping. (There is an $800 reserve on this set).

This is a one shot deal, so if you are in the market for a set like this you better grab it now. The auction ends tomorrow (MONDAY) at 3PM EST.
