After I get the binding done I'll fit the neck. At the moment the top of the neck is slightly below the surface of the top and isn't that tight. Shall I shim the sides of the dovetail on the tenon ? John |

I make this shim dry and then glue it to the block when I glue in the neck . so I do it all at once |
