This looks a lot like the unit described in a Guitarmaker article a couple of years ago. Any connection?
(I have all the parts for it sitting in a box - never have gotten around to assembly
)

Great product. I made a similar device from a controller I obtained from an Ebay seller and it makes bending much safer and easier. For the time and cost of obtaining parts and making an enclosure the LMI unit is a great deal. I enjoyed building my controller and being a retired Industrial controls Electrician so it was easy for me, but if this unit was available when I built mine I would probably have purchased from LMI instead.
