I don't know that what I add here would necessarily count as a 'mod'....but I think it could be useful to others. I've posted it before but again...useful here. Here's my version of a resaw fence with in-feed and out-feed tables. The infeed table face has 6 rare earth magnets counter sunk into the face so that when I go to attach it to the saw...I don't have to grow another arm.

AND....I think I read this on this forum but don't remember whom to credit.....a psa backed tape ruler affixed to the face of the blade guard (the black piece that scrolls up and down so that you can position the bearings according to your work) could be a good mod. That would allow for quick adjustments and eliminate the as of now process where you place the wood....set your height...remove the wood...tighten...blah blah blah. Of course being aware of your initial placement of the tape would be in good order....so as to get it right the next few thousand times you use it. I'm currently reviewing the tapes at Woodcraft to see which one I might like to use for this purpose.

That maple knob glued onto the door bolt is a good idea.

On another note...has anyone figured out how to deal with the black leveling plate on the fence being higher than the table? Here's a photo with my finger pointed straight at it. I didn't notice it until today. Had to run a long piece thru the saw and just happened to feel it drop when the end of the wood passed over it and onto the table.
