Things are getting finalized . Time and date is 7-17-10 starting at 9 am or thereabouts . This is to be a fun and open gathering. RC Tonewoods and I will both be offering some tonewoods and I hear Colinial Tonewoods may be able to pop in. We have special guests that will give demos . Todd Stock on how to sharpen and Jim Warwick on French Polishing. I hope to have a small inlay seminar and Dale Bartholemew may pop in for Nitro finishing. I want this to be fun and we have an open mic for Jammers . Let us have a blast. Food is up in the air. We may just fire up the grill for tube steaks . I have a few pop up tends and tables. Bring chairs if you can. I don't have enough to sit all but we will make do the best we can. Map Quest and GPS will get you here. 244 forrest dr Hegins PA 17938 |

If you can make it happen it would be cool if someone could shoot some video and post it up on you tube so those of us that cant make it can share in the event. My wife is from Selinsgrove Pa. and her and the kids will be in Pa on vacation at that time but wouldn't you know I can't go because it is my busy season. |

I will be bringing my cameras. I have a High Definition camera - the same I used for all of John's videos. John also has a video camera that we have been setting up for 2 camera videos, and a few tripods. I also plan on editing the videos and providing to John. I am looking forward to this! Glenn |

I will be probably coming up from the Laurel / Columbia area if I can make it... so I am still tentative. I am interested in the French polish demos and the bending demos.... I hope I can make it.... John |

Todd Stock wrote: Talking with John Hall this AM, a count of positive and possible attendees would help him scale the lunch stuff and sound gear for the open mic, etc. I'll start a new thread and ask Lance and Brock to sticky it for a couple days while we tote up the folks from OLF attending. From the back-of-the-envelope counts, John may have 50-55 folks showing...including the 2007 host (Sylvan Wells), the Zootman, and other luminaries. Thanks Todd. Never considered myself as a liminary. ![]() |

Liminary, no! Luminary, yes! And, we aren't talking about a bag of sand with a candle in it! ![]() |
