Just a quick note to let folks know that LMI has a limited supply of Seagrave lacquer (McFadden) available in gallons. The price is substantially higher (and will probably go even higher in the next few weeks  ), but we hope that means Seagrave can continue to produce it. We should have quarts before too long (weeks?). Thought I'd let the OLFers know before the rest of the world finds out.

That's good news, Natalie. so the bankruptcy court has approved the sale to Seagrave?

Seagrave didn't buy L. McFadden, they just bought the product formulas (formulae) from them. They are putting them out one or two at a time. They are not bottling for us, so we had to do some air quality testing, buy bottling equipment, etc. in order to legally and safely repackage their product. We bottled our first gallons last week and should have quarts of lacquer very soon. Hopefully the other products will follow. We are bringing in Chemcraft's pore filler, which has received rave reviews from some of our finishing friends. The price of the lacquer is substantially higher, but considering that McFadden went under due to financial stress, this might not be a bad thing in the end.
