I was not going to post this one, but on second thought maybe some of you fine folks might like to see some exceptional tiger myrtle. This instrument is the one I built for the local pro who promised to help me sell some of my other instruments. On the advice of the group I exchanged an instrument for some lessons, some pro sound clips, and his assistance in promoting my other instruments. He upheld his end of the bargain, now I'm doing my share. Standard koi pond background OLF MJ (thanks, Michael) my fourth.... Tasmanian Myrtle from Kevin Riggs Peruvian walnut bindings w/maple purfling Brazilian peghead, fretboard, etc. Adi top from John Arnold (wonderful stuff) K+K pure western mini Attachment: smalleric 001.jpg The sap wood on the sides is awesome! Attachment: smalleric 002.jpg Attachment: smalleric 004.jpg I especially like the way the grain comes together at the end! Attachment: smalleric 006.jpg Attachment: smalleric 011.jpg I did not know there was a five picture limit, now I do... |

I really like the heel treatment. Haven't seen one like it & it looks very cool! Did you do the finish yourself? Also VERY nice. Sweet guitar. You didn't lay it on that rock without a pad underneath did you? GASP!!! |
