Plaster of Paris. Used in the manner of pore filling, like you would with Pumice. Little at a time, don't expect to fill in one go. It also depends on the depth and size of the indents - they may have to be steamed out. |

I tried the plaster of paris thing on one place in my #2 guitar, and now I have a dark spot there. Didn't work as I expected. I'm sure I did it wrong, but it wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be. I would steam them out and touch up the FP. You can steam right through it sometimes, if it's a nice thin finish, which is what I prefer on my tops. You'll have to re-work the area, but it's not hard to get it back up to snuff. |
