Post subject: | Truss Rod Help |
Can anyone tell me what kind of truss rod this neck is cut for. I tried to contact the guy I bought it from but the number is disconnected. It's about .262 wide and .400 deep and the slot is .385 wide and .475 deep. |

Tim- If you check the supply places (LMII,StewMac,Allied) you should be able to find a rod that fits . You can always glue in some shims into the wider area of the slot if necessary- some rods use an even-width slot all the way. The slot is generally a bit deeper than the rod, to allow for a cover strip of some kind. Here's a chart from LMII... |

That looks like a Martin neck to me, correct? If so, you should get a Martin rod. |

I agree with Steve. That looks like a Martin neck routed for their two way truss rod. Chris. |

Yep it is the 2 way truss rod Martin is using now. They said they started using it about 3 years ago. Thanks for the help |
