Anyone know a good source for dust collection hose and fittings? It seems prices at most places have gone through the roof the last few years.

It is unbelievable what metal ducting costs... cost me $700 for 4 machines at about 18 feet of total length.
If I were to do it again I would probably go with plastic as Todd suggests.

I used metal ducting. I sealed the joints with metal tape and grounded the system. I can't complain, it hasn't failed in 2 years.

I bought a 30 foot 4 inch hose from Rockler when it was on sale about a couple of months ago. When not stretched out it is about 3 - 4 feet in length. I thought about putting in permanent ducting but decided against it in my small area.

i used home depot metal 4" ducting and HVAC metal tape. Grounded to each machine and back to the DC. cheap and easy. and while it may not provide 100% sucking where 100% sucking is needed, it sucks good.

Most of my parts (gates, etc) came from Wood Craft, with some misc items from the Despot.
