Anyone know a good source for dust collection hose and fittings? It seems prices at most places have gone through the roof the last few years. |

It is unbelievable what metal ducting costs... cost me $700 for 4 machines at about 18 feet of total length. If I were to do it again I would probably go with plastic as Todd suggests. |

I used metal ducting. I sealed the joints with metal tape and grounded the system. I can't complain, it hasn't failed in 2 years. |

I bought a 30 foot 4 inch hose from Rockler when it was on sale about a couple of months ago. When not stretched out it is about 3 - 4 feet in length. I thought about putting in permanent ducting but decided against it in my small area. Chuck |

i used home depot metal 4" ducting and HVAC metal tape. Grounded to each machine and back to the DC. cheap and easy. and while it may not provide 100% sucking where 100% sucking is needed, it sucks good. b |
