Finally got up with my ringer. He came by my office today to swap off #2 for #3 for a while, and he had his H4 with him, so he popped off a couple of clips. One of #3 which I have refinished and adjusted the action on, for him, and another for #4. Just as a reminder, #3 was Bubinga/Lutz 650 scale.

#4 is the 640 scale EIR/German Spruce most recently finished.

I really like how the Recuerdos sounds - and I am very picky at it. I feel in love with the CG upon hearing someone playing this piece, and I still consider it the most beautiful piece wrote for guitar.
So, [clap] [clap] !

Boy, the two sure have different sounds. Both good from here. The first seemed kind of a warmer, fatter tone and the second ,#4, much brighter. Are they the same strings on both Waddy? And are you happy.

See Ya

Thanks folks. I'm pretty happy. I think there were some differences in the recording, but also, #3 has had about 5 months of playing in and #4 has only been played a limited number of hours and is still changing. Essentially the same strings on both guitars. Savarez Corum Alliance Normal Tension basses and Oasis Carbon trebles - Normal tension.

Great sounds, Waddy! I particularly liked the basses on the Capricho Arabe. You may have inspired me to make my first classical.

Best regards,
Max

Thanks, guys! I think the difference is in the top wood. The Lutz is a little more flexible cross grain than the German Spruce I have used.
