Post subject:  A video clip of my #6 Bubinga wedge.
Hi

I did a couple videos of some good pickers playing my wedge at last nights Michigan Fingerstyle Society concert. The sound has background noise as J.B. Was playing in the lobby and Pino at the workshop, lots of talking in the back ground. This video was taken with my Sony DSC w70 so the mic is not the greatest.

I looks like the players really were paying attention to the sound and liked it. The second player in particular seemed to have a "THIS IS A REALLY NICE GUITAR" moment! Very nice.

Sounds really good Fred, well rounded, good balance and a warm, but bright tone.
What's it going to sound like after a year of playing!

If things go as it did with my Cocobolo OM from last year which had a very similar tone at the beginning, it will get a little more bass but the mids and highs will just get a little fuller sounding. I hate using words to describe tone as it is not possible to do so that others will understand what you are trying to say, to me my best description is better and louder at doing what it did at first, if that makes any sense.

Pino's 1st words as he was tuning down to one of his tunings was "real loud Fred" he picked a little and after he looked comfortable with the his tuning accuracy I started to film him.

It is a great feeling the 1st time you hear a real skilled player pick your guitar.

Wow Fred, even with the background noise and all, you can really tell this is great sounding guitar - cool "growl" on the bass, nice clear trebles - would have been nice to extend the video a bit and hear the critique from these talented players - I am sure they were impressed!

Congrats again, Fred. It's got to be great for you to have such accomplished players playing your guitar and obviously enjoying it. Sounds outstanding even with the background noise.

I added this video even though there is background talking as I like the sound any way. This is Italian fingerstyle player Stefano Barone of the Guitar Republic doing a little melodic noodling on the Wedge. The biggest noise in the background is my wife, she doesn't pay attention to what is going on sometimes.
