In this video he plays a Greenfield Baritone Guitar.. and the sides are a green color. How is this done...? You can still see the wood-grain, so it doesn't seem painted or anything. Is it dyed?

Joe White dyed this guitar for me. He applied the dye after the epoxy pore fill then clear poly over that

Most likely a translucent dye!

Nothing to add on doing this but want to say i watched this video last week on on demand cable tv and that was the first thing i noticed the green tinted back and sides.

There's more to that guitar's story than dye isn't there? That's cool looking.

Actually, in the case of that Greenfield, the color was sprayed on.

The neck is from a stair tread called Timberstrand. It is like OSB but uses long fibers rather than flakes for increased strength
