Thanks, Robbie. Your videos are very helpful and very well done. I always look forward to the next one. For those of us who wish to obsess about these things. . .you mention using a thin business card to measure the distance between the string and fret. . .is this equal to one index card, or a specific feeler gauge thickness? Thank you Chuck and others for your compliments. I use a thin business card stock. There is not a huge difference between the thin stock and the thicker stock and I doubt any player would be able to tell which one was used to set up his guitar. Feeler gauges are a viable alternative to the business card. However, I don't know what the measurement is. I will let you guys figure that out. About your obsessive disorder... there are other areas of guitar building and life for that matter that are worth being obsessive over but I don't consider this one of them. ![]() Happy Building! |
