Has anyone done (or seen) a flamed maple guitar with a burst on only the top? Any pictures would help. I guess I am looking for "food for though" ![]() |

i have thought of this too and have been looking at older j-200's lately and have seen a lot of rosewood ones. ![]() ![]() i think it could really look good with a lighter wood for the back and sides too. |

I am working on a adi/flamed maple and am considering bursting the top, but not the back, sides, or neck. |
