Just a few more. Attachment: P1030461 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1030469 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1030473 (Large).JPG And a few from the shop. Attachment: P1030438 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1030451 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1030453 (Large).JPG Thanks for looking folks. I believe this one sounds better than any of the other three.. I didn't think it was possible, I've been so happy with each one. Maybe it's my moving expectations! I made a few changes to process that made this one a little easier to get done. I'll try to get a sound clip as soon as I can. |

Beautiful guitar Waddy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Few questions for you: 1. What finish did you use? (looks great!!) 2. What make are those tuners? (love them!) 3. Did you make your own marquetry purfling strips, and if so, what are the woods used in them? (again, they look fantastic!) Cheers, Dave F. |

Thanks, guys! I appreciate the comments. Dave: 1. The finish is French Polish 2.The Tuning Machines are Sloanes 3. I made all of the marquetry - the woods are mahogany, bubinga, wenge, black dyed ? veneer, Jatoba, Padauk, I think! ![]() Attachment: P1020472 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1020517 (Large).JPG Attachment: P1020528 (Large).JPG Danny, I have a label made, I just haven't put it in the guitar yet. Chris, I did it with a chisel, and back filled with Cocobolo dust and CA. |

Thanks, Jim and Sen. Sen, I have thought about it, but didn't know how it would look passing through the cut-out at the top. It would show the end grain of the strip. I suppose I could do it, I just haven't felt the need. Maybe, one of these days. |
