bracing 002.jpg

Its my second one of these guitars..the first one was shorter scale length and more space in the lower bout for regular tone bars. Its a small box and i had to go in and shave the lower TB on the first one to get some more Bass which worked well.
The bridge on this guitar is nearer the centre of the Lower Bout and I decided to go with a lower X brace..I am wondering if i should tuck these braces into the linings or just taper them down to nothing. I am winging it with no plans so any thoughts gratefully received!

The last 10-15 I've built I took EVERYTHING in the lower bout to zero, no drawbacks I can detect. How often can you say all pluses and no minuses?

Personally, I only tuck the main X brace and I only do that in the upper bout.
