I found a bottle of this in Woodcraft today. http://www.highlandwoodworking.com/came ... 240ml.aspx The back of the bottle states that it's a mix of camellia oil and parafin wax. I thought man that would be good to keep my planes from rusting. Does it interfere with glue up? Any potential problems on the finishing side? You know...handle the plane a lot...handle the wood a lot... ?? Chris |

I've had a bottle for 7 years and use it occasionally on planes, chisels and saw blades. I have no rust so I guess it's working. A little goes a loooong way. I suspect it will last several lifetimes! |
