At last! An event devoted exclusively to fine guitars and lutherie in South East Asia! In keeping with their philosophy of promoting music making, Guitarbench.com announces the launch of the Singapore Guitar Show in 2010.
Our aim: to spread the word about these artists and artisans who devote their lives to this amazing instrument, and their fabulous instruments.
The date is set for Oct 2-3, and the venue at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Suntec convention center features a climate controlled, secure environment with a large amount of foot traffic and easy amenities within walking distance.
The exhibit aims to attract players, collectors and dealers to experience a range of handcrafted/ high end acoustic instruments. This would be a chance not only to sell directly, but also to network with regional buyers & dealers. The exhibit will have a mixture of flattop guitars, classical, slide guitars and ukuleles on display.
The target audience will be regional from the S.E Asian region but we foresee visitors from the ANZ region, Japan and China to attend also.
We’d love to invite you to attend in our inaugural year. For this inaugural year, the fees for luthiers are capped at $100 Singapore Dollars per table but please hurry as spaces a limited!
