I'm planning a Dreadnought style guitar, 25.4 scale strung with mediums. So far I haven't built anything larger than an OM and my last 5 have been L-00 or smaller, so I need some guidance on a bracing pattern that I've been working on. From top to bottom: Neck block is a double mortise and tenon. Upper brace is 5/8 x 5/8. Sound hole reinforcement is a cross grain patch of .125" spruce. X braces are 5/16 x .600. Finger braces are 1/4 x 1/4. Bridge plate is .090 thick. Tone bars are 1/4 x 1/2. Tail block is 1/2" thick shop made plywood. Ignore the profiling of the braces, that was just an exercise to gain more experience with my CAD program.
