I have NO idea if this would work for our kind of stuff... maybe someone can chime in. But, if you need to paint, and hate to paint (me), this looks like a neat thing. Note the MSRP in the info box. http://www.homedepot.com/Paint-Paint-Sp ... ogId=10053 Coupon for $100 off: http://milwaukeepropaint.com/pdf/M4910- ... lyer_2.pdf MrRebates for homedepot is 4% so thats another $15 for a total of ~$268. And free shipping. Mike (who is wondering if I am about to hear that this is an overpriced POC) |

I am not sure what a 619-319 spray tip relates to in terms of mmm I know this is intended to spray latex paint cor commercial house painting. not sure if it will work well with nitro or other solvent based coatings |

We used airless to spray nitro in a cabinet shop. It does wear out the seals faster in the pump, we had to replace them every few months. The 619 tip size is how airless tips are sized, 6 is the width of spray, and 19 is hole size, if I am remembering correctly. The right tip matters when going from latex goop to thin nitro. Airless can work well, but does not work well for small batches of things, as the hose takes quite a bit to fill before any medium comes out. They can really dump out the material. If one is interested in airless, there are plenty brands I would start with before milwalkee, Grako makes good stuff and parts are available. Rob |

Good info Rob. Thanks. If I got one, it would be for the house. Do you think that $1500 msrp is just marketing BS? |

If you just want to paint the house, you can rent them pretty cheap. $1500 is in line with many airless units, there is stuff in the $500 range too. We got pretty good at rebuilding them, and I do suggest looking to parts before buying an airless. Also make sure that guns and hoses are interchangeable with standard parts. Rob |
