I strung this up last Thursday. I still need to set the action and polish it some more. |

Very nice, Dave. Did you have any problems bending the Lacewood? |

Thanks everyone! Waddy' Broke the first set, on the second set I used Super Soft 2 and that seemed to help. Ron, It's also Lace Wood. In fact I had that peice with me when I came to your house 3 or 4 years ago. I didn't know what it was so I brought it with me. Bruce Dickey told me it was Lace Wood and He had a back and side set that he let me talk him out of. The bindings are Sycamore that I picked up the next year in Spring Field at the ASIA convention. By the way I figured out that I'm allergic to Lace wood dust. I broke out every where I got dust on me. So this is my first and last build with Lace Wood. This is also my first and last arm rest. The way I did it the guitar ended up weighing more and for me it seems to be easier to build a wedge and get the same ergo effect without the added weight. |
