Just wondered if others here have had similar problems, if I warm the wood to give me a longer open time it generally cups and warps and a joint the candled perfectly now has a hump in the middle I just avoid this step now, and try and work quick and have it at least 65 f in the workshop before I do maybe fish glue is the way to go as 1 in 10 I have to redo.

How do you do yours?

I tent the plates, apply the glue and join them... all within 30 seconds...no need to warm the wood.

I've been using this too. Works great and very fast.

Yeah using clamps is slower I just feel more confident doing so I tented the top of my first guitar using titebond and it worked well but now I have large sash cramps I feel more assured using them and it doesn't take much effort to redo a joint, it takes longer to wait for warped plates to return to shape!
