I am getting close to using up my 1/4" plexi stock. I have a few more body templates and jigs to make. I started looking for a local supplier and found that the box stores do not carry 1/4" and hardware store prices are high. I also did a google search and thought that the pricing seemed a little high, let alone shipping costs. The 1/2 sheet I had used up was given to me from a friend that had it laying around and wanted rid of it (chances are small that will happen again!). Anyway, I was wondering where you buy your 1/4" plexi? Thanks Chuck |

Yes, but it depends on the store and time. They're offcuts, so it's a matter of luck depending on what they've been cutting recently. |

Another option is PETG (similar to 2 liter bottles). It's not quite as good as polycarbonate for impacts, but much better than acrylic. I like it because it seems to machine cleaner than polycarb (less gummy), and it's lower $. |
