I'm just finishing up my first slotted peghead (on a Stella style parlour guitar) & I'm wondering if any of you have advice on buffing inside the slots. The lacquer is going on very nicely & probably will look fine if I leave it alone, but any tricks or tips would be welcomed. Thanks. Dan |

I give 'em a 600 grit sand after the first build up, then just leave them alone. Gawd knows, Stella didn't do much I suspect. |

If you get a nice smooth coat on the inside of the slots, I'd leave it alone... |

Thanks Guys! Just finished spraying the last coat & it looks nice & shiny... Should do the trick. Sure is cool, finally having a real spray room! No dust, no bugs, no sweat! Dan |
