Post subject: | Repair '93 Taylor Bolt On Neck |
I was doing a partial refret on a '93 Taylor Dreadnought and I noticed a rattling sound in the neck block. Then I pressed against the Taylor label and I could feel a springing action. Is this normal? I don't want to take the label off if I don't have to but is there a way to do it so that I won't destroy the label? The neck feels solid so I'm confused. The action on the guitar was very low BTW. Any advice would be helpful. |

I'm guessing that one of the bolts is loose. I've removed labels by heating a little with a hair dryer. Just be careful not to tear it. |

Ken, If you do end up destroying the label I have some. Just take a photo first so I can make sure the ones I have are the same. |
