I had a great experience today, presenting to my 5 year old daughter's nursery school class. I showed them how a handmade guitar is built, from raw wood to the finished product, then capped the documentary with a rousing performance of "Itsy bitsy spider". I learned that the secret to being a talented musical performer is entirely dependent upon the expectations of the audience.
Anyway, it was a real trip, watching these kids eyes get big when I walked them through the bending of the sides (description - no heat involved, of course) and the other steps. Perhaps we've got some future members of the OLF coming in about 10 - 15 years!
