Have you ever noticed how sometimes you do a great job at a repair operation. In my case, removing a neck and causing no damage to the top finish.... Is that a crack or a scratch? |

Edward, That is a break... through the top and into the bridge plate. The entire bridge twisted forward loosening all the string tension... If it was nearly anywhere else, I would have tried to repair it. This is the result of a fall with the intensity of the perfect storm. The guitar fell over face-first onto a perfectly aligned screwdriver handle. Doh! |

Ouch - sorry about that Chris but perhaps if we all have to experience this at some point your dues are now paid. |
