It's been a while since we did one of these show us your stinkin shops threads AND we have lots of new members with stinkin shops that we have not seen prior.

Let's see your stinkin shops please? :D

Here's mine with the new bandsaw:

Furnace room with a stinkin table saw that I have yet to use..... The wall is shared with my shop and if I ever do a big honkin dust collector with a decent sub micron filter I may place it in here and run a receptacle through this wall. OTOH my vac does a good enough job for me for now.

Well, I have done absolutely everything and spent umpteen countless hours trying to figure out how to post pictures here with no success yet, but I can tell you that my shop does not look like yours, Hesh!! I used to think mine was pretty neat, clean and orderly but you've permanently wrestled that one away from me! :D Honestly, I love it - your zoot stash, new bandsaw (just got a new Laguna 16"HD myself), and that great bridge lineup. I like this thread.

Randolph, its easy. Simply resize the picture to below 256 kbs (using your image viewing program), click choose file in the "upload attachments portion of reply page, choose your file (its easiest to find them if their saved to your desktop), and "click add the file".

If for some strange reason that does not work, go to photobucket.com and create an account, upload your photos, copy the URL, click "IMG" in the reply options and (img]paste URL in here[/img).

Hesh,

My goodness, the bridges on the third and second shelf are not in the same direction.. wow7-eyes ...kidding.

Great shop! How do you clean the dust from your new band/table saw? Is it afterwards?

Best regards,

Edzard

Not much to show. Still working on all the basics. I've been busy lately so haven't made much progress since the last shop update. I should get time to work on it this weekend though. I did get 90 amps of electrical service ran to it, which should be plenty for what I have.

I always love these threads. I always see ideas for things I'd like to do in my own shop.

Here's mine - the CNC is in the luan enclosure at the center in the background.

Here's a recent "update" gallery I posted to my facebook page:

I really like the Facebook business page by the way - it's free and it's a great format!

Let's just say the 2 shops are a study in contrasts.

laughing6-hehe

I love my shop, but on occasion I just have to take a half hour and clean it out top to bottom. Then I'm back making sawdust. 8-)

Ok, here's mine:

The corner behind the bandsaw is going to be reworked into a mini spray booth.

The woodrack is from my furniture building days and I'm going to put shelves on most of it to better hold my zoot. Most of my decent stuff needs to be resawn and is buried on the bottom rack. Left end of the cut-off table is a downdraft sanding table that still needs the top with the holes in it.

I must admit that I've reached the age where I appreciate a place to sit for detail work, working on the computer, and, sometimes, just snoozing :?

This corner of the shop is still a real mess. Bench is a catch all for the milling machine tooling and non-wood stuff. Must build shelves. The big cabinet is a router table from when I had a bigger shop. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. Haven't fired it up in over 3 years. The red tool box goes to the garage as soon as I get some of the drawers built that I've already installed slides/glides for.

I played this game once before, and you guys gave me grief for my windows!

But I will say my favorite addition is the 50K BTU radiant tube heater! :D I might like that more than Hesh likes his bandsaw!

Here's the latest addition to my shop, unfortunately, very soon, we're building a wall to protect it, Sasha, and a bunch of sewing machines and fabric from me and my dust.

By the way, that's a lot of digging.

Mike what is that - an egress window in your shop? That, natural light, is the one thing that I wish that I had in my shop - very cool!

Ken bro heaters matter here in Michigan don't they.... laughing6-hehe :? :D

Steve you have a great looking shop and very neat too... [:Y:] :D Is the microwave for the lunch time burrito?

Hi Arnie - this is a good opportunity to see where the rest of us build our guitars and who is a slob and who is not..... :D

Nice looking shop Trev and so far I think that you are the only CNC guy who is showing pics of their shop. I'll bet that in the years to come we will see more CNC in home shops.

Good point Darrin and many of the ideas for my shop came from these threads - I didn't know that a bathroom was not a proper shop.., :?

Thanks James.... :D I was doing OK looking at your pics until I saw the last one and I nearly had the big one then..... [xx(] :D

Come on Tim just because I am a sick puppy does not mean that we are going to judge you as a slob like James above is...... Just kidding James my friend... :)

Zach can we forget about the FM pic please..... :? ;)

John no comment and I am keeping the photos of your shop that I have under wraps for you protection..... :D

Woody that is a great looking security system!!! [:Y:]

Arnie what a great looking shop with lots of natural light and cool tools. The antlers are also pretty cool - great to have you here my friend. [:Y:]

Devin wanna post a pic of your kitchen LOL.

Edzard I am always cleaning up right behind me and it actually helps me stay organized except for when my vac sucks up a finger plane..... [headinwall]

Randolph congrats on your new Laguna!!!! [:Y:]

Edward thanks for helping with the pic posting issue! [:Y:]

Let's see some more shops please?

Thanks :)

The occasional lunch treat Eat Drink but usually its used to heat water for the HHG pot. I don't have running water in the shop so it saves me 20 or 30 minutes when I'm getting ready to do a glue-up.

Ok, I'll bite...
Here's how you jam a whole shop (minus spray booth) into a 14x22 space.

Hi.
First of all, thanks for such a great resourse to all OLFers
I suppose you might call me a bit of a lurker, I have rarely posted.
Truth is, using the archives, all my questions have been answered (so far), and because I live in Scotland, by the time I see posts anything I might reply too always seems to have been answered anyway.
Just by way of introduction, I am 60 yrs young, work in the oilfields, guitars are a hobby now after 45 years of playing (poorly).
I did a course in Sweden 3/4 years ago (2 weeks to build you own finished guitar virtually from scratch to start off and give me some confidence - then set up shop in my new shed - insulated, heated, acclimatised.
So, some (poor) pictures of my small shop (11' x 11')-sorry for the quality, yellow tint from low energy bulbs, mobile phone used for photos.
