Finished this one at last The head plate back sides and rosette all mahogany I got for nothing from a boat builder who was closing up shop. Two pieces from the same plank so no book match. Top is Adi, bridge, fret board and bindings EIR. Bolt on cedar. It is a rough copy of a guild M20. Really a no bling learners project. cost less than$100.00 to build which suits me! Steve I have to tell you my friend that this is one of the nicest 1st guitars that I have seen. I like everything about it and of course your total cost too is very impressive. Great job - the bar for 1st guitars keeps getting higher! |

Steve, Congratulations! That's a very nice guitar! I agree with everyone else, very classy and well executed. So what's for #2? Betcha can't build just one. |
