OK...so I went from: Mathematician : 6 to Luthier/Machinist : 62 and 182 to Mechanical Engineer : 71 Why did I ever leave academia? One must consider their methods EXTREMELY suspect, though...philosopher has a 'very good' hiring outlook and an average pay of 60K/year by their stats. Doing a little math...it's going to be trouble when the <employees of boutique coffee shops in my city / 3> people with philosophy degrees in Halifax find out! |
