Ok - so some of you have built lots and lots of guitar and probably think I'm a bit silly.... however..... Joe White is finishing #006 for my son and I - so that's how many we've done. This evening the owner of #004 posted a review on AGF (Acoustic Guitar Forum) http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173053 I wanted to share the excitement with you since so many here have been a part of helping us along the way. Specific thanks go out to: My son Kyle - for being a great partner in this! You ask the best questions and I love building with you! Kevin Gallagher for getting us started on this path. Hesh - for answering a bunch of questions over the past year or two. Joe White for making our boxes look like real guitars! Dave Maize for the very stiff redwood top John at Blues Creek - for his time on the phone to walk me through bending sides and all the other help! John Mayes - for taking the time and energy to make the DVDs that have become like a guitar bible to us. And the rest of the OLF community of builders who have posted all the invaluable tutorials and helpful hints. You'll never know how much you have helped us! All the best! |

I second my dad's thanks. For a guitar that tested my patience every step along the way this was a great ending. Thank you to everyone here I know that without the help of all of you that this guitar would not have turned out as well as it did. |

I remember seeing this one on the Acoustic Guitar Forum. I must say, it is beautiful. I love the bloodwood binding, simply fantastic looking. |
