Hi All, Just applied a first coat of clear over this new baby. Will be having a sunburst finishing later. It has 7 strings and played like a fretless. Wishing you all a Joyous & Blessed Christmas! Jeff |

I don't understand it at all, but it is really cool looking. Is it like a lap guitar, or a steel guitar? It is quite interesting. If I had ever seen one before, I'd say it looked perfect! ![]() Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you too, Jeffery. |

I have to agree with Waddy. That's the nicest one of those I've ever seen! Do you know how to play it Jeff? Cheers, Danny |

Looks like the strings go on the side shown in the last picture. Would you mind showing us a picture of one strung up! |

Is that a braced box with soundholes? Can we get a soundclip when it is strung up? |

Thanks guys. I've learned and played this a while ago, its fun! Here is a link where she gave a good intro to this instrument. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3emtHEQRpcU It looks something like this when its done. I'm using the guitar style of construction compared to its ancient method and materials. Jeff |

Hi Guys, Just added a cherry burst, will take a break for now. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. Jeff The top is carved with a tone bar at the center, the back is braced. Sorry cannot add on a FR but you can do tapping on it. |
