This is probably the last set of Madagascar Rosewood you are likely to see run through the auctions for a long while. So if you have been thinking about getting one of these sets you better act now. This set is dense, dark, and really nice. It has lots of spider webbing, great color (especially nice sides) and a fantastic tap tone. The set is big enough to build a dread

The retail value is $350, or you can end the auction early and get free shipping for a bid of $275
The auction ends tomorrow at noon EST.

That's a good buy Waddy, that is about the price we are paying now for the choice sets of Mad Rose here now, I've only got half a dozen sets left (which I paid $75 a set for some years ago ;) ) . If you remember, La Lena that I made used Madagascan B&S, as have another couple of Torres guitars I've made since, and it is every bit as good as BRW. Be careful of the sides when bent, if they are well on quarter they can split fairly easily, but a bit of HHG or fish and its sorted.

I've just started a Mad rose OOO steel string for one of my boys.
