I just got these pictures from Joe - who I must say is SO PATIENT with getting a burst just right...THANKS SO MUCH! Regardless, I figured I'd show off the reason for my excitement. This is my #2 guitar for my brother for Christmas... Stephen |

Great looking guitar, Stephen. Will you have this in Kalamazoo? And nobody does bursts better than Joe...nobody! |

Yeah, I really give props to Joe. When time is money for him, he still spent about 4 hours on a saturday afternoon walking me through his finishing steps - answering my questions - even encouraging me in my own finishing efforts. He does incredible work, and is an incredibly guy, so it is very easy for me to send business his direction. He sent me pictures with each stage of the burst and let me throw in my two cents about colors, depths, etc...totally patient - resulting in something that almost perfectly captured my vision... With my brother - well he has been my greatest encourager - so it is the least I can do for him. He can't build, so I guess I can't expect something in return ![]() Stephen |

Since everybody is saying such good things about 'Joe' (guitar looks great), it would be very useful to those of us not 'in the know' to give a full name, link, website, email or some such information so we can give him more business! ![]() Thanks! John |

John, I apologize. We are talking about: Joe White Sunset Guitar Finishing GETGOMUSIC@aol.com 574-370-5577 And so I can be consistent, Tony Feguson also does finishes that are beyond perfect. Tony sprays a polyurethane, while Joe sprays a polyester. Joe prefers not to have to work with neck on guitars (preglued acoustics, set neck electrics, etc...) while Tony will take of these sort of things. Tony Ferguson fergusonguitars@sbcglobal.net 616-842-4114 Both of these guys are exceptional men, and do exceptional work. I know for me, finally taking the jump to the pro finish has really pushed my building to a whole new level. Now I can take those extra 50 hours I would end up working on a finish, and put that effort into perfecting other steps of the build. Stephen |

Stephen- Thanks for the info. It's printed here and in the files. No need for apology . We're all human, after all- though sometimes when I see the extremely high quality of work around here, I start to wonder! ![]() Cheers John |
