| Post subject: | Fanned Fret Bridge Placement |
I am working on a fanned fret model- my first. I am a little conserned about placing the bridge at the write angle when I get there. I usually use a scale length template along with the stew mac saddlematic. But since this is a fanned fret I am not going to be able to use the saddlematic. Should I simply rely on the scale length templates, or is there a better way? |

There is a post on this in the archives somewhere. I saw it last month as I am contemplating a fan fret design for a future build. I believe you are to set the bridge and measure according to the exact 1st and 6th. string point placement passing over the bridge. Kent |
