My current pickup that I use is an LR baggs M1 active paired with an LR Baggs para acoustic DI. my old pickup was a fishman classic 4 UST. my initial thought was to tie the two pickups together through the existing predrilled hole in the tail block. unfortunately the M1 active cant be wired together with the classic 4 due to the differences in battery voltage. so what I was wondering is this...

can I drill another whole through the tailblock for the classic 4? I know that I have to keep an eye out for the JLD bridge truss but would drilling another hole be a bad idea as far as structual integrity is concerned?

also should i use a brad point bit, a woodboring bit or a standard titanium bit?

I really would rather have a mic installed to blend with but Im saving for tonewood instead.

thanks in advance for the replies

I have seen many professional guitarists with two jacks drilled in the end block, I really do not think it would be a problem.

Been done many times .... I recently picked up a titanium coated step drill for the jack/strap hole - it doesnt blow out the inside like a forstner/brad can.
