Post subject:  KTM-SV Application

I have built 4 guitars and have used z-poxy to seal and fill pores and Tru-Oil as a finish. The TO is okay but I'm looking for alternatives. I've heard good things on the OLF about KTM-SV and I'm wondering if I should try it on number 5 that I'm completing the build on. I have some limitations in my finishing choices. My shop is in the garage, do not have spray equipment or place to spray, and I have done the finishing in the past in my spare bedroom as conditions are not favorible in my garage. So, I have some questions about KTM-SV...

1) Can I wipe or brush on KTM-SV and if so, do I need to thin the product and how do I do that?

2) Can I use it in my spare bedroom without risking my life or iritating my wife (...smell or hazardous material)?

3) Can I use it over z-poxy?

Thanks for the help.
Steve

You have a long current thread about it:

Waterborne does not mean there are no chemicals in the finish and solvents, nor that you should breathe or drink it.
