Thought I'd share a new one just strung. Pictures aren't too great - weird shadows on the front.

Sinker I got from Peter M at last years swap meet. East Indian back and sides, Acacia Binding. 13.5" lower bout. Behlen's Rockhard finish.

This is my first experience with this small of a guitar. Quite a different sound from what I am used to playing and building. Not as bassy but nice shimmery middle and upper end.

Beautiful, a really striking guitar. The warm colors are just great.

Thats a beauty Neil. I really like the shape, did you draw it up yourself?

Yes, I really like the asymmetrical bridge. Nice.

Looks good. I bought the sister set to that top in that swap, SWP02. Its nice to know what it will look like finished.

Neil-
That's a very classy-looking little guitar.

I particularly like the soundhole treatment- is that a solid wood ring or veneer overlay?

Cheers
John

beautiful guitar. I really like the look of small body guitars. is the sound hole off center, or have i had one too many? It seems many guitars have a slightly off center sound hole. is there a reason for this? really pretty little guitar by the way!

I think part of it is the angle of the close up and part is that the soundboard may not be jointed perfectly bookmatched. The sound hole looks centered to the FB, but the light strip on the top on either side of the sound hole is not lined up equally.
