So far I cut up wood (ample) to sticker my tonewood sets. I don't like the idea of cutting up "good" wood, and thought about alternatives.

Then it hit me that I could use bamboo chopsticks. 100 chopsticks cost around $5, so it's fairly inexpensive too.

Is this a good/bad idea?

thanks, Christian

Seems like they would be a little small and maybe not square?

I like a bit more space of air circulation. I want .75" to clearance between sets since that the point of seperation in the first place

I like using dowel stock. You just need to make sure your storage rack is level or the boards can roll off the rack.

Try to attach the dowels to the boards using with superglue. Or maybe that wonder BONDO thing discussed in another thread.
